Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED (American Heart Association)

The Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED course integrates the learning of the theoretical notions and practical skills of basic cardiopulmonary resuscitation, with the techniques to be used for the relief of the most common medical pathologies. In this way, the learner has the possibility of expanding his cultural background in the medical emergency, improving his ability to intervene in case of real need. The Instructor / Learner ratio of 1: 6, imposed by the American Heart Association guidelines, allows constant monitoring and feedback from the instructors who can correct and reinforce the learners throughout the duration of the practical sessions.

The course is structured to teach how to effectively divide roles in the event of an emergency, in order to optimize response times and methods. The training sessions deal with topics ranging from the most common medical-traumatic diseases to their effective treatment in emergency situations. Particular attention is paid to the acquisition of theoretical knowledge and practical skills aimed at performing a quality cardiopulmonary resuscitation.

Weekly frequency

The course requires a preventive study of the manual which will be provided to the participants before the start of the course. The manual resumes all the topics covered within the course. Learners will participate in simulated clinical scenarios and learning stations.
