  • Description

The ITLS course ranges from the most relevant problems of acute out-of-hospital trauma, giving the possibility to the learner to learn the diagnostic diagnostic algorithms of the most relevant traumatic pathologies, in accordance with the most recent scientific studies concerning the treatment and atraumatic transport of traumatized patients. The course is provided in two Basic and Advanced versions: the Basic version, in particular, is aimed at non-healthcare personnel who do not have the possibility of administering drug therapies and managing the airways in an advanced way.

The ITLS course is structured in different modules: from the evaluation of the dynamics of the trauma, fundamental to understand the injury mechanism, to the diagnostic process, to then arrive at the district traumas: thoracic, abdominal, cranial, limbs. It also teaches the diagnosis and treatment of burns, pediatric / geriatric trauma, trauma in pregnancy.
